Description
The gasoline-powered Generac OHV 4-stroke 149 cc engine in the Generac GP3300i can put out 120V. It has a running power of 2,500W and a maximum power of 3,300W. Also, since it can work in parallel (but doesn’t come with a parallel kit), this power can be doubled by connecting it to another unit that works with it. The pull-start mechanism on this inverter generator is standard. It has Generac’s PowerDialTM, which is an easy-to-use dial with three settings for how the generator works. The GP3300i can run for up to 7 hours on a full tank of 1.06 gallons of gas (fuel consumption is approximately 0.15 GPH). The GP3300i makes a clean sine wave. With a Total Harmonic Distortion (THD) of less than 3%, you can safely plug sensitive electronics into its AC outlets.
Outlets
On the control panel, there are 3 AC outlets: a duplex 120V 20A (5-20R) outlet and a 120V 30A (L5-30R) outlet.
It also has 2 DC outlets: two 5V USB ports that make it easy to charge devices like cell phones or tablets.Even though this Generac generator isn’t quite RV Ready, an L5-30P to TT-30R adapter makes it easy to connect it to an RV.Features
There are several lights that let you know when the generator is overloaded, when it doesn’t have enough oil, and when it’s ready.
As for safety features, the device has a circuit breaker for overheating and an automatic shut-off for low oil, so you can use it without worry. The Generac GP3300i comes with the standard paperwork and an owner’s manual, which will help you start the device quickly. It also comes with oil, a funnel, and a tool kit.Mobility
The encased inverter generator design of the Generac GP3300i (L22.2 x W13.3 x H18.4 in) makes it look better than any ordinary open frame product.
The design shown here is in line with the latest trends and is great for easy and fun use.Since the GP3300i weighs only 59.5 lbs, you can take it anywhere you need power. It also has a handy handle that is built into the case. This makes it easier to carry the GP3300i from place to place.Product Videos

- We compared more than 500 portable generators at 50% load. We found that there is “skewed right” distribution for the difference between 50% load and 25% load and the median comes at 1.43. With this number we converter all the 25% load runtime to 50% load. Same with the propane efficiency, where median is 1.38.
- For some generators where propane runtime was not given, we used NIST 1994 GGE (Gasoline Gallon Equivalent) formula: 5.66 lbs. of propane = 1 gal of gasoline. All propane runtime is for 20 lbs. propane tank (4.7 gallons).
- Unlike many other sites, we actually tried to find out information about each of the above requirements. However, we are human and are therefore capable of the odd oversight or mistake. Please let us know if you spot any missing or erroneous values so that we can fix them.
About the Manufacturer
Founded in 1959, Generac Power Systems is an American manufacturer of power tools and generators.
Generac’s primary business is, as its name implies, the manufacture of power generators as well as other electrically related products like switches, paralleling systems, and tiny engines. The corporation has multiple US-based production facilities, thus its goods are produced there. The company, however, doesn’t disclose where the components they use were made.Warranty Information
The warranty for the Generac GP3300i lasts for up to 3 years.
This warranty may not cover all parts of the generator or may only cover certain parts.Generac’s warranty policies can tell you more about how long generators are covered by warranty. You can also call their customer service line at 1-888-GENERAC (888-436-3722).
