The A-iPower SUA10000EC is made with a gasoline-powered Senci OHV 4-stroke engine that is 459 cc and has 16 hp. With an output of 120/240V, it has an average wattage of 8,200W and a maximum wattage of 10,000W. The noise level of this generator is 77 dBA, which is less than a shower. It can be started with a pull-start or a simple and elegant electric starter (battery included). With a 7-gallon fuel tank, the SUA10000EC can run for about 7 hours at 0.5 load on a full tank (fuel consumption is approximately 1 GPH). Due to its high THD (20%), the SUA10000EC is not a good choice for powering sensitive electronic devices.
Two 120V 20A (5-20R) GFCI duplexes and a 120/240V 50A (14-50R) receptacle are among the 5 AC outlets on the control panel. It also has 1 DC outlet: a 12V 8A plug that looks like a cigarette lighter so you can easily charge your batteries.Since it has a 14-50R outlet, this A-iPower unit is ready for an RV with a 50-amp service if you have an RV with 50-amp service.
The SUA10000EC’s control panel has a digital data center that tells you how many hours it has run in its lifetime. This helps you keep track of its activity and status. In addition to this information, a light lets you know right away if the oil level is too low.The generator has a built-in fuel gauge that makes it quick, easy, and convenient to check how much gas is in it.For safety, the generator has an overload protection (circuit breaker) and an automatic low oil shut-off, so you can use it without worrying. The A-iPower SUA10000EC comes with basic instructions and an owner’s manual to help you start the generator quickly. It also comes with a tool kit, oil, and charging cables for the battery.
The A-iPower SUA10000EC is 27.6 inches long, 27 inches wide, and 25.6 inches high.It has a typical open frame design that makes it stable and allows it to be raised above ground level. The design shown is great for the outdoors and other rough places. The generator weighs 216 pounds, so it may be hard to move or transport it by hand, even though it is technically considered “portable” (movable).Still, its wheel kit (dia:9 “) and its handle that folds up, once it’s on the ground.
We could find any videos of the product at the time of writing. Please search YouTube for any update.
The following charts show how some of the most important features of the A-iPower-SUA10000EC compare to other generators with the same power output.

- We compared more than 500 portable generators at 50% load. We found that there is “skewed right” distribution for the difference between 50% load and 25% load and the median comes at 1.43. With this number we converter all the 25% load runtime to 50% load. Same with the propane efficiency, where median is 1.38.
- For some generators where propane runtime was not given, we used NIST 1994 GGE (Gasoline Gallon Equivalent) formula: 5.66 lbs. of propane = 1 gal of gasoline. All propane runtime is for 20 lbs. propane tank (4.7 gallons).
- Unlike many other sites, we actually tried to find out information about each of the above requirements. However, we are human and are therefore capable of the odd oversight or mistake. Please let us know if you spot any missing or erroneous values so that we can fix them.
About the Manufacturer
A-iPower, a small US-based business, is a new player in the generator industry. They sell engines, water pumps, pressure washers, and of course generators as part of their product line.Numerous conventional and inverted portable generators, many of which feature an electric starter, are available from A-iPower.The business has a number of locations, including a distribution hub in Wisconsin and a headquarters in California. But the entire manufacturing of their products is outsourced to China.
A warranty covers the A-iPower SUA10000EC for up to 2 years. This warranty may not cover all parts of the generator or may only cover certain parts.A-iPower generators come with a warranty that you can find out more about by calling A-iPower Customer Support at 1-855-888-3598.
