Description
The Champion 200914 has 120V power and a lot of options because it uses both gas and oil. When it is running on gasoline, it has a running wattage of 3,500W and a peak wattage of 4,250W. When run by propane, it has a rated power of 3150 watts and a peak power of 4250 watts. Also, because it can work in parallel (ParaLink is not included), its power can be increased by connecting it to a second unit that works with it. The pull-start mechanism on the inverter generator is simple and old-fashioned. It is said to make 64 dBA of noise (little noisier than an office setting). The 200914 can run for up to 22 hours on gasoline and has a fuel tank that holds 4 gallons (fuel consumption is approximately 0.18 GPH). If you use propane instead, it can run for up to 21 hours on a 20-pound tank (propane uses about 0.22 GPH). The 200914 makes a clean sine wave. With a Total Harmonic Distortion (THD) of less than 3%, you can safely plug sensitive electronics into its AC outlets.
Outlets
On the control panel, there are 3 AC outlets: a duplex 120V 20A (5-20R) outlet and a 120V 30A (TT-30R) outlet.
It also has 1 DC outlet, which is a cigarette lighter-style 12V 8A receptacle that makes it easy to charge your batteries.Since the unit comes with a dual port USB adapter, you can also use the DC receptacle to easily charge devices like cell phones and tablets. This Champion generator is ready for an RV because it has a TT-30R plug (TT stands for “Travel Trailer”).Features
In the control center of the 200914, there is an Intelligauge meter that shows voltage, frequency, and lifetime hours.
This helps you keep track of its status and activity. In addition to this information, the generator has some lights that let you know right away if it is overloaded, if the oil level is too low, or if it is ready. The inverter generator has a built-in fuel gauge that makes it quick, easy, and convenient to check how much gas it has. From a safety point of view, the product has a circuit breaker for overload protection and an automatic shut-off for low oil, so you can use it without worry. The Champion 200914 comes with the standard paperwork and an owner’s manual that will help you get the device up and running quickly. It also comes with a propane hose, oil, funnel, and a dual port USB adapter.Mobility
The Champion 200914 is made with a typical open frame that measures L20.9 x W18.3 x H19.4 in, This gives it support and stability and gives you the option to raise it above the ground.
The design shown is great for the outdoors and other rough places. The 200914 weighs 79 lbs when it is empty, so you can use its power anywhere you need to.Also, the open frame makes it very easy to grab the frame and move it.Product Videos

- We compared more than 500 portable generators at 50% load. We found that there is “skewed right” distribution for the difference between 50% load and 25% load and the median comes at 1.43. With this number we converter all the 25% load runtime to 50% load. Same with the propane efficiency, where median is 1.38.
- For some generators where propane runtime was not given, we used NIST 1994 GGE (Gasoline Gallon Equivalent) formula: 5.66 lbs. of propane = 1 gal of gasoline. All propane runtime is for 20 lbs. propane tank (4.7 gallons).
- Unlike many other sites, we actually tried to find out information about each of the above requirements. However, we are human and are therefore capable of the odd oversight or mistake. Please let us know if you spot any missing or erroneous values so that we can fix them.
About the Manufacturer
A US-based producer of power equipment, Champion Power Equipment was established in 2003.
The comparatively tiny business has established a name for itself in the portable generator market as well as the larger power equipment market, with a concentration on heavy duty machinery like log cutters, snow blowers, chipper shredders, etc.Their whole product line is American-engineered.The corporation does not, however, disclose the country of origin of its parts.Warranty Information
There is a warranty on the Champion 200914 for up to 3 years.
This warranty may not cover all parts of the generator or may only cover certain parts.Champion’s warranty policies can tell you more about how long the warranty on a Champion generator lasts. You can also call their customer service line at 1-877-338-0999.
