Description
The Champion 200953 has a 224cc OHV 4-stroke engine that runs on gasoline and puts out 120V and 3,500W while running and 4,250W at its most powerful. Also, because it can work in parallel (ParaLink is not included), its power can be increased by connecting it to a second unit that works with it. The noise level of this inverter generator is 64 dBA, which is just a little louder than a normal conversation. It can be started with a simple pull-start mechanism or an easy-to-use electric starter (battery included). To make things even easier, the 200953 can be started from afar (key fob included). The 200953 can run for up to 22 hours on a full tank of fuel, which can hold 4 gallons (fuel consumption is approximately 0.18 GPH). The 200953 makes a clean sine wave with a Total Harmonic Distortion of 3%, so it’s safe to plug sensitive electronics into an AC outlet (THD).
Outlets
On the control panel, there are 3 AC outlets: a duplex 120V 20A (5-20R) outlet and a 120V 30A (TT-30R) outlet.
Also, it has 1 DC outlet: a 12V 8A plug that looks like a cigarette lighter so you can easily charge your batteries.Since the unit comes with a dual port USB adapter, you can also use the DC receptacle to easily charge devices like cell phones and tablets. This Champion generator is ready for an RV because it has a TT-30R plug.TT stands for “Travel Trailer”.Features
The 200953’s control panel has an Intelligauge meter that shows voltage, frequency, and hours of use.
This helps you keep track of its status and activity. On top of this, there are some lights that let you know right away if the oil level is too low, if the generator is overloaded, or if it is ready. The inverter generator has a built-in fuel gauge that makes it easy and quick to check the fuel level. As for safety features, the device has a circuit breaker for overheating and an automatic shut-off for low oil, so you can use it without worry. The Champion 200953 comes with a standard set of instructions and an owner’s manual to get you started right away.It also comes with a dual port USB adapter, a key fob, oil, and a funnel.Mobility
The Champion 200953 is 27.9 inches long, 23.4 inches wide, and 21.7 inches high.
Together with its traditional, open-frame design, they support the generator and allow it to be raised above the ground. The generator is built to work well outside and in rough places. The 200953’s dry weight of 90 pounds lets you take it anywhere you need to.Also, once it’s on the ground, its wheel kit (dia:8 “You won’t have to work hard to move it because the handle folds down.Product Videos

- We compared more than 500 portable generators at 50% load. We found that there is “skewed right” distribution for the difference between 50% load and 25% load and the median comes at 1.43. With this number we converter all the 25% load runtime to 50% load. Same with the propane efficiency, where median is 1.38.
- For some generators where propane runtime was not given, we used NIST 1994 GGE (Gasoline Gallon Equivalent) formula: 5.66 lbs. of propane = 1 gal of gasoline. All propane runtime is for 20 lbs. propane tank (4.7 gallons).
- Unlike many other sites, we actually tried to find out information about each of the above requirements. However, we are human and are therefore capable of the odd oversight or mistake. Please let us know if you spot any missing or erroneous values so that we can fix them.
About the Manufacturer
A US-based producer of power equipment, Champion Power Equipment was established in 2003.
The comparatively tiny business has established a name for itself in the portable generator market as well as the larger power equipment market, with a concentration on heavy duty machinery like log cutters, snow blowers, chipper shredders, etc.Their whole product line is American-engineered.The corporation does not, however, disclose the country of origin of its parts.Warranty Information
There is a warranty on the Champion 200953 for up to 3 years.
This warranty may not cover all parts of the generator or may only cover certain parts.Champion’s warranty policies can tell you more about how long the warranty on a Champion generator lasts. You can also call their customer service line at 1-877-338-0999.
