Description
The powerful and versatile Champion 201052 gives off 120V thanks to its dual-fuel technology. Even though it runs on gasoline, it has a running wattage of 3,800W and a peak wattage of 4,750W. It is powered by propane and has a rated power of 3420 watts and a starting power of 4275 watts. The noise level of this generator is 68 dBA, which is quieter than background music. It can be started with a pull-start or a simple and elegant electric starter (battery included). With a fuel capacity of 4.5 gallons, the 201052 can run for about 14 hours at 0.5 load with a full tank of gasoline (fuel consumption is approximately 0.32 GPH). It can run for about 10.5 hours if propane is used (on a 20 lbs tank – propane consumption around 0.45 GPH). The THD (20%) of the 201052 is too high for it to be used to power sensitive electronic devices.
Outlets
The control panel has 4 AC outlets: a 120V 20A (5-20R) duplex outlet, a 120V 30A (L5-30R) outlet, and a 120V 30A (TT-30R) outlet.
This Champion generator is ready for an RV because it has a TT-30R plug.TT stands for “Travel Trailer”.Features
In the control center of the 201052, there is an Intelligauge meter that shows voltage, frequency, and lifetime hours.
This helps you keep track of its status and activity. The generator has a built-in fuel gauge that makes it quick, easy, and convenient to check how much gas is in it.In terms of safety, the generator can be used without worry because it has an automatic shut-off for low oil and an overload protection (circuit breaker).Volt GuardTM, which is built into Champion, protects your equipment and appliances from voltage spikes. The Champion 201052 comes with the usual paperwork and an owner’s manual , which lets you start it right away.It also comes with a funnel, a propane hose, and oil.Mobility
The Champion 201052 is made with a typical open frame that measures L24.7 x W25 x H22.2 in, This gives it support and stability and gives you the option to raise it above the ground.
The device was made to work well in harsh conditions and in the great outdoors. The generator weighs 123 pounds, so it may be hard to move or transport it by hand, even though it is technically a “portable” generator (movable).Once it is on the ground, it can still be moved easily with the help of its wheel kit (diameter: 8″) and its folding handle.Product Videos

- We compared more than 500 portable generators at 50% load. We found that there is “skewed right” distribution for the difference between 50% load and 25% load and the median comes at 1.43. With this number we converter all the 25% load runtime to 50% load. Same with the propane efficiency, where median is 1.38.
- For some generators where propane runtime was not given, we used NIST 1994 GGE (Gasoline Gallon Equivalent) formula: 5.66 lbs. of propane = 1 gal of gasoline. All propane runtime is for 20 lbs. propane tank (4.7 gallons).
- Unlike many other sites, we actually tried to find out information about each of the above requirements. However, we are human and are therefore capable of the odd oversight or mistake. Please let us know if you spot any missing or erroneous values so that we can fix them.
About the Manufacturer
A US-based producer of power equipment, Champion Power Equipment was established in 2003.
The comparatively tiny business has established a name for itself in the portable generator market as well as the larger power equipment market, with a concentration on heavy duty machinery like log cutters, snow blowers, chipper shredders, etc.Their whole product line is American-engineered.The corporation does not, however, disclose the country of origin of its parts.Warranty Information
There is a warranty on the Champion 201052 for up to 3 years.
This warranty may not cover all parts of the generator or may only cover certain parts.Champion’s warranty policies can tell you more about how long the warranty on a Champion generator lasts. You can also call their customer service line at 1-877-338-0999.
