Description
A 208 cc Firman Max-Pro Series OHV 4-stroke engine powers the Firman P03601. It runs on gasoline and has a running wattage of 3,650W and a peak wattage of 4,550W. It gives out 120V. The noise level of the generator is 67 dBA, which is less than an office. It has a traditional pull-start mechanism. With a full tank, the P03601 can run for about 14 hours at 0.5 load (using about 0.36 GPH of fuel). This is because it has a 5 gallon fuel capacity. Due to its relatively high THD (25%), the P03601 can’t be used to power sensitive electronic devices.
Outlets
The control panel has 4 AC outlets: a 120V 20A (5-20R) duplex outlet, a 120V 30A (TT-30R) outlet, and a 120V 30A (L5-30R) outlet.
The TT-30R plug on this Firman generator is ready for an RV.TT stands for “Travel Trailer”.Features
In the P03601’s control center, there is a handy meter that shows voltage, frequency, and lifetime hours.
This helps you keep an eye on its status and activity. In addition to this information, a light shows you if there isn’t enough oil.The generator has a built-in fuel gauge that makes it quick, easy, and convenient to find out how much gas is in it.For safety, the generator has an automatic low oil shut-off and an overload protection (circuit breaker), so you can use it without worrying. The Firman P03601 comes with oil, a funnel, and a tool kit, as well as the usual paperwork and an owner’s manual to get you up and running right away. You can also buy a storage cover that is made by the company.Mobility
The Firman P03601 is 23.2 inches long, 17.8 inches wide, and 18.6 inches high.
Together with its traditional, open-frame design, they support the generator and allow it to be raised above the ground. The generator is built to work well outside and in rough places. The generator weighs 101.5 pounds, so it may be hard to move or transport it by hand, even though it is technically considered “portable” (movable). To make the generator easier to move around, you might want to buy an official wheel kit.Product Videos

- We compared more than 500 portable generators at 50% load. We found that there is “skewed right” distribution for the difference between 50% load and 25% load and the median comes at 1.43. With this number we converter all the 25% load runtime to 50% load. Same with the propane efficiency, where median is 1.38.
- For some generators where propane runtime was not given, we used NIST 1994 GGE (Gasoline Gallon Equivalent) formula: 5.66 lbs. of propane = 1 gal of gasoline. All propane runtime is for 20 lbs. propane tank (4.7 gallons).
- Unlike many other sites, we actually tried to find out information about each of the above requirements. However, we are human and are therefore capable of the odd oversight or mistake. Please let us know if you spot any missing or erroneous values so that we can fix them.
About the Manufacturer
Firman Power Equipment is a business with a recent but reputable history in the power equipment sector.
It was founded in 1999.The Arizona-based business provides a vast array of goods, including power tools, automotive equipment, storage items, work clothing, but its assortment of generators of different shapes, sizes, and outputs stands out above the rest.Interestingly, Firman serves as a de facto distributor of China National Machinery Industry Corporation’s goods in the US and is a fully owned subsidiary of that business.Warranty Information
A warranty covers the Firman P03601 for up to 3 years.
This warranty may not cover all parts of the generator or may only cover certain parts.Check out Firman’s warranty policies if you want to know more about the warranty on a Firman generator. You can also call their customer service line at 1-844-FIRMAN1 (844-347-6261).
