The A-iPower SUA7000 has a Senci OHV 4-stroke engine with 389 cc and 13 hp. It gives out 120/240V, runs on gasoline, and has a running wattage of 6,000W and a peak wattage of 7,000W. The generator has a simple pull-start mechanism that has been used for a long time. It has a noise level of 74 dBA (slightly noisier than running a dishwasher The SUA7000 can run for about 12 hours at 0.5 load on a full tank and 7 gallons of fuel (fuel consumption is approximately 0.58 GPH).
Two 120V 20A (5-20R) GFCI duplexes and a 120/240V 30A (L14-30R) receptacle are among the 5 AC outlets on the control panel. Also, it has 1 DC outlet: a 12V 8A plug that looks like a cigarette lighter so you can easily charge your batteries. The SUA7000 is ready for a transfer switch because it has a twist-lock L14-30R receptacle. You can easily connect it to your breaker box to power your home when the power goes out.
The SUA7000’s control panel has a digital data center that helps you keep track of its status and activity by giving you information about how long it has been running. In addition to this, the featured light indicator will let you know when the oil level is too low.The generator has a built-in fuel gauge that makes it quick, easy, and convenient to check how much gas is in the machine. For safety, the generator has an automatic low oil shut-off and an overload protection (circuit breaker), so you can use it without worrying. The A-iPower SUA7000 comes with the basic paperwork and an owner’s manual, which makes it easy to start the generator. It also comes with a tool kit, an RV adapter, oil, and battery charging cables.
The A-iPower SUA7000 is 27.8 inches long, 27.2 inches wide, and 25.4 inches high.Together with its traditional, open-frame design, they support the generator and allow it to be raised above the ground. The design shown is great for the outdoors and other rough places. The generator is technically “portable” in the sense that you can move it, but at 195 pounds, it may be hard to move it by hand.Still, once it’s on the ground, its wheel kit (dia:9.5 “), and its folding handle can easily fix the problem of limited mobility and make the device easy to move.
The following charts show how some of the most important features of the A-iPower-SUA7000 compare to other generators with the same power output.
**Fuel efficiency is give in relative percentage, 0 being the lowest and 1 being the highest value. Please see below specification table for actual value.

- We compared more than 500 portable generators at 50% load. We found that there is “skewed right” distribution for the difference between 50% load and 25% load and the median comes at 1.43. With this number we converter all the 25% load runtime to 50% load. Same with the propane efficiency, where median is 1.38.
- For some generators where propane runtime was not given, we used NIST 1994 GGE (Gasoline Gallon Equivalent) formula: 5.66 lbs. of propane = 1 gal of gasoline. All propane runtime is for 20 lbs. propane tank (4.7 gallons).
- Unlike many other sites, we actually tried to find out information about each of the above requirements. However, we are human and are therefore capable of the odd oversight or mistake. Please let us know if you spot any missing or erroneous values so that we can fix them.
About the Manufacturer
A-iPower, a small US-based business, is a new player in the generator industry. They sell engines, water pumps, pressure washers, and of course generators as part of their product line.Numerous conventional and inverted portable generators, many of which feature an electric starter, are available from A-iPower.The business has a number of locations, including a distribution hub in Wisconsin and a headquarters in California. But the entire manufacturing of their products is outsourced to China.
A warranty covers the A-iPower SUA7000 for up to 2 years. This warranty may not cover all parts of the generator or may only cover certain parts.A-iPower generators come with a warranty that you can find out more about by calling A-iPower Customer Support at 1-855-888-3598.
