The 322 cc (9 hp) Senci SV320 OHV 4-stroke engine of the A-iPower SUA7000L runs on gasoline and can put out 120/240V. It has a running power of 6,000W and a maximum power of 7,000W. The noise level of the generator is set at 74 dBA (slightly noisier than running a dishwasher It has a pull-start mechanism, which is a common way to start a motor. With a full tank, the SUA7000L can run for about 11 hours at 0.5 load, which is about 0.36 GPH (gallon per hour), because it can hold 4 gallons of fuel. Due to its relatively high THD (23%), the SUA7000L can’t be used to power sensitive electronic devices.
Two 120V 20A (5-20R) GFCI duplexes and a 120/240V 30A (L14-30R) receptacle are among the 5 AC outlets on the control panel. Also, it has 1 DC outlet: a 12V 8A plug that looks like a cigarette lighter so you can easily charge your batteries. The SUA7000L has a twist-lock L14-30R receptacle, which means it is ready for a transfer switch. It can power your home during a power outage because it is easy to connect to your breaker box.
The SUA7000L’s control panel has a digital data center that tells you how many hours it has been running for so you can keep an eye on its status and activity. In addition to this information, if the oil level is too low, a light on the device will show.A built-in fuel gauge makes it easy and quick to check how much gas is in the generator. As for safety features, the device has a circuit breaker for overheating and an automatic shut-off for low oil, so you can use it without worry. The A-iPower SUA7000L comes with some accessories like battery charging cables, a tool kit, and oil.It also comes with the usual paperwork and an owner’s manual to get you started right away.
The A-iPower SUA7000L is made with a typical open frame that measures L24 x W23.3 x H21.8 in, This gives it support and stability and lets you raise it above ground level. The design shown is great for the outdoors and other rough places. The generator weighs 134 pounds, so it may be hard to move or transport it by hand, even though it is technically a “portable” generator (movable).Still, because of its wheel kit (dia:7 “Once the generator is on the ground, it is easy to move thanks to its wheels and folding handle, which make up for its lack of maneuverability.
The following charts show how some of the most important features of the A-iPower-SUA7000L compare to other generators with the same power output.

- We compared more than 500 portable generators at 50% load. We found that there is “skewed right” distribution for the difference between 50% load and 25% load and the median comes at 1.43. With this number we converter all the 25% load runtime to 50% load. Same with the propane efficiency, where median is 1.38.
- For some generators where propane runtime was not given, we used NIST 1994 GGE (Gasoline Gallon Equivalent) formula: 5.66 lbs. of propane = 1 gal of gasoline. All propane runtime is for 20 lbs. propane tank (4.7 gallons).
- Unlike many other sites, we actually tried to find out information about each of the above requirements. However, we are human and are therefore capable of the odd oversight or mistake. Please let us know if you spot any missing or erroneous values so that we can fix them.
About the Manufacturer
A-iPower, a small US-based business, is a new player in the generator industry. They sell engines, water pumps, pressure washers, and of course generators as part of their product line.Numerous conventional and inverted portable generators, many of which feature an electric starter, are available from A-iPower.The business has a number of locations, including a distribution hub in Wisconsin and a headquarters in California. But the entire manufacturing of their products is outsourced to China.
A warranty covers the A-iPower SUA7000L for up to 2 years. This warranty may not cover all parts of the generator or may only cover certain parts.A-iPower generators come with a warranty that you can find out more about by calling A-iPower Customer Support at 1-855-888-3598.
