Thanks to its dual-fuel technology , the DuroMax XP13000EH delivers 120/240V and offers power and versatility. When gasoline-powered, it benefits from a running wattage of 10,500W and a peak wattage of 13,000W. When propane-powered, it has 9975 rated watts and 12350 peak watts. Enjoying a noise rating of 74 dBA (Slightly louder than a shower), this generator can be started thanks to a simple traditional pull-start mechanism, but also to a simple and elegant electric starter (battery included) (battery included). Regarding its running time, the XP13000EH, with an 8.3 gallons fuel capacity can operate for around 8.5 hours at 0.5 load with a full tank of gasoline (fuel consumption is approximately 0.98 GPH) (fuel consumption is approximately 0.98 GPH). It can run for about 3.5 hours if you use propane (on a 20 lbs tank – propane consumption around 1.34 GPH). The powering of sensitive electronic devices with the XP13000EH is not recommended due to its relatively high THD (<12%).

- We compared more than 500 portable generators at 50% load. We found that there is “skewed right” distribution for the difference between 50% load and 25% load and the median comes at 1.43. With this number we converter all the 25% load runtime to 50% load. Same with the propane efficiency, where median is 1.38.
- For some generators where propane runtime was not given, we used NIST 1994 GGE (Gasoline Gallon Equivalent) formula: 5.66 lbs. of propane = 1 gal of gasoline. All propane runtime is for 20 lbs. propane tank (4.7 gallons).
