With its dual-fuel technology, the Firman H05751 is a powerful and versatile generator that can put out either 120V or 240V. Even though it runs on gasoline, it has a running wattage of 5,700W and a peak wattage of 7,125W. It runs on propane and has a rated power of 5700 watts and a starting power of 7125 watts. The generator has a noise level of 74 dBA, which is just a little louder than a shower. It has a simple pull-start mechanism and a simple and elegant electric starter (battery included). With an 8-gallon fuel tank, the H05751 can run for about 12 hours at 0.5 load on gasoline (using about 0.67 GPH of fuel), or for about 5 hours on propane (estimation based on a 20-lb tank; propane uses about 0.94 GPH). Due to its high THD (25%), the H05751 is not a good choice for powering sensitive electronic devices.
There are 6 AC outlets on the control panel: two 120V 20A (5-20R) GFCI duplexes, a 120V 30A (L5-30R) receptacle, and a 120/240V 30A (L14-30R) receptacle. This Firman generator isn’t quite RV-ready, but it has an L5-30R receptacle that makes it easy to hook it up to an RV with an L5-30P to TT-30R adapter. Also, the H05751 has a twist-lock L14-30R receptacle, which makes it ready for a transfer switch. It can power your home during a power outage because it is easy to connect to your breaker box.
The status and activity of the H05751 can be easily checked on the control panel, which has a meter that shows voltage, frequency, and lifetime hours. The generator has a built-in fuel gauge that makes it quick, easy, and convenient to find out how much gas is in it.When it comes to safety, this product has a circuit breaker for overheating and an automatic shut-off for low oil, so you can use it without any worries. The Firman H05751 comes with the standard paperwork and an owner’s manual, which will help you get the device up and running quickly. It also comes with a propane hose, funnel, tool kit, and oil.
The Firman H05751 is a standard, open-frame generator with dimensions of L30.2 x W27.5 x H26.3 in, This gives the generator stability and lets it be raised above ground level. The design shown is great for the outdoors and other rough places.Even though this device is technically portable (meaning it can be moved), it can be hard to move and use without special tools because it weighs 194.5 pounds.Once it’s on the ground, though, its wheel kit (dia:10 “), and its folding handle can easily fix the problem of limited mobility and make the device easy to move.
The following charts show how some of the most important features of the Firman-H05751 compare to other generators with the same power output.

- We compared more than 500 portable generators at 50% load. We found that there is “skewed right” distribution for the difference between 50% load and 25% load and the median comes at 1.43. With this number we converter all the 25% load runtime to 50% load. Same with the propane efficiency, where median is 1.38.
- For some generators where propane runtime was not given, we used NIST 1994 GGE (Gasoline Gallon Equivalent) formula: 5.66 lbs. of propane = 1 gal of gasoline. All propane runtime is for 20 lbs. propane tank (4.7 gallons).
- Unlike many other sites, we actually tried to find out information about each of the above requirements. However, we are human and are therefore capable of the odd oversight or mistake. Please let us know if you spot any missing or erroneous values so that we can fix them.
About the Manufacturer
Firman Power Equipment is a business with a recent but reputable history in the power equipment sector. It was founded in 1999.The Arizona-based business provides a vast array of goods, including power tools, automotive equipment, storage items, work clothing, but its assortment of generators of different shapes, sizes, and outputs stands out above the rest.Interestingly, Firman serves as a de facto distributor of China National Machinery Industry Corporation’s goods in the US and is a fully owned subsidiary of that business.
There is a warranty on the Firman H05751 for up to 3 years. This warranty may not cover all parts of the generator or may only cover certain parts.Check out Firman’s warranty policies if you want to know more about the warranty on a Firman generator. You can also call their customer service line at 1-844-FIRMAN1 (844-347-6261).
